Rules of the Club
Membership entitles each member and their immediate family (spouse and unmarried children under 21 years of age or unmarried full time student) to use of the clubhouse, golf course, tennis courts and swimming pool under the following rules and regulations.
1. Members and guests only will be allowed to use the club facilities.
2. Guest must be accompanied by the inviting member, who is responsible for the conduct of their guests. Guest is required to pay applicable fees (green fees act.).
3. Local guests (within 50 mile radius) cannot be invited to the clubhouse more than two (2) times a year. Out of town in house guest is not required is not required to pay for clubhouse use. Out of town in house guest with proof of residency can use golf course when playing with a member at one/half the normal green fees.
4. Members should make every effort to preserve the beauty and cleanliness of the I clubhouse and grounds.
5. No pets are allowed on the country club property any time.
6. Golf shoes are not permitted in the upstairs area of the clubhouse or on the stairway leading upstairs.
7. No bathing suits are allowed in the clubhouse.
8. The paved parking area is for passenger's vehicles only. (No golf cart trailers) Passenger vehicles please do not block area under trees; this area is for cart trailers.
9. Only card carrying adult members are allowed in the lounge area. Exception: special events, tournaments, ect.
10. Rental fee for clubhouse: $250.00 rental $250.00 damage deposit. Payable I week in advance. See lease agreement for special provisions.
11. All teenage parties must be chaperoned by an adult member.
12. Anyone using the club facilities must leave it in the same condition as it was found.
13. An unmarried active member may have one (1) person as a guest that is of the opposite
sex or immediate family and that guest is entitled to the use of the club facilities but
must be accompanied by the club member.
4. Children of members in good standing, are considered members of the club with full privileges. A child must petition for his or her own membership. 1. Within ninety (90) days after no longer being a full time student (90 day period begins on the last day attended in the previous school term) 2. Within thirty (30) days after leaving home or 3. within thirty (30) days of getting married.
15. Failure to obey the rules of the club can result in a fine or suspension from the use of the club facilities.

Golf Course Rules
The following rules are in addition to any regulations posted on the golf course or printed on the
scorecards. They are designed for the benefit of members and guests for their enjoyment and
smoothness of play.
1. The U.S.G.A. Rules of golf etiquette and handicapping apply.
2. All players (including members) must register at the Pro Shop before beginning play. Play must begin on number one tee unless special permission is granted by the starter or in his absence the Pro Shop.
3. Each player must have his own set of clubs.
4. Players coming off number nine green will have the right of way at the number ten tee at all times. Players who start on number ten must wait until the tee is open on number one before teeing up for the second nine holes.
5. Each member shall be responsible for the conduct of his or her guest.
6. No ball will be played until all players in front of you are out of your range. When searching for lost balls, you must allow faster players to play through. If at any time a hole becomes open in front of your group, you must allow faster players to play through. The ranger will decide what constitutes slow play.
7. Players must comply with all requests made by the ranger.
8. The starter shall form foursomes whenever possible.
9. A golf match of more than four players is not allowed (Exception: In organized club scrambles one group of six players may be allowed to accommodate for one odd couple) From November I to March 31 up to six players may play only when not slowing play.
10. Use extreme caution to avoid damage to greens. Please repair all ball marks, spike marks, ect. Before leaving the green, Please leave the green after all necessary repairs are completed and record your score at the next tee.
11. Golf bags must not be deposited on the green.
12. Members should make every effort to obey the 90 degree rule when in effect. Players must stay off fairways and roughs when Cart Paths Only sign is displayed.
13. Go If carts are not permitted within twenty (20) yards of greens on fairways or rough.
14. Only approved golf shoes will be allowed on the golf course.
15. No wading or swimming, in the lakes or creeks on the golf course property.
16. It is recommended that young children not be allowed on the golf course. It is the parents or accompanying adult's responsibility for the safety of that child.
17. Children under 12 years of age are not permitted to play golf unless accompanied by an adult. This includes the use of the practice green, practice area and driving range.
18. Practice will be permitted only in the designated area. Chipping, putting, and hitting balls into the regular golf course greens is prohibited.
19. All organized tournaments must be arranged with the Pro Shop and approved by the board.
20. Proper golfing attire is expected; no swimsuits will be worn on the golf course. Shirts with sleeves and shoes must be worn at all times.
21. Trail fee for nonmembers will be $5.00 payable in the Pro Shop.
22. Members must be fourteen (14) years of age or older to operate a golf cart, unless accompanied by an adult. Sixteen (16) years or older to operate a rental cart.
23. Players may not operate their carts in a dangerous or reckless manner.
24. All Friday, Sunday, and holiday club member event prizes will be awarded in script or Pro Shop merchandise.
The rules enumerated above are not intended to be all inclusive and all members are subject to any other rules and regulations that are posted on or about the Club premises.
Club members shall also be subject to any additional rules or regulations that may be enacted by the Board of Directors of the Calvert City Golf and Country Club in the future.
