Ladies Golf
The Ladies’ Golf Association welcomes any female member of the Calvert City Country Club to join in playing golf each Tuesday during the golfing season. Play begins at 9:00 AM weather permitting and when local tournaments are not scheduled. Ladies Day play is held beginning with the Spring Kick-Off Tournament in April and ending with the Fall Close-Out in September. Ladies Day play is determined by the vice-president of the LGA and is any game in which an individual score can be determined. Business meetings are held as needed or at least once each month prior to play on a Tuesday morning
USGA Rules apply for LGA play with local rules as exceptions. Handicaps are established by GHIN (Golf Handicap Information Network). Handicap is determined by the scores made on Ladies’ Day and scores from other 18 hole rounds of golf played using USGA rules. The most current handicaps determined by GHIN must be used in handicap tournaments. Fees for GHIN are a part of the association dues.
Membership dues are $20.00 per year with another $2.00 for Tri-state membership. Ladies’ Day play is $2.00 with $.01 for each putt made that day. Tournament entry fees vary with each tournament.
