CLUB NEWSLETTER
Club News
We hope everyone is having a great new year. It is winter time, but there is still a lot going on at the club.
Golf Course
John and the crew are still removing brush between 6 & 7 fairways as the weather permits and it looks good. The maintenance on the equipment is ongoing.
Cart Sheds
The program of repairing the cart shed doors is ongoing with some doors being replaced.
Swimming
The opening of the pool will be here before you know it. We look forward to another great year of fun at the pool.
Swim membership. If you know of someone who would like to have a swim membership for the summer have them go by the Pro shop and put their name on the swim membership list. Those which had memberships last summer will have the opportunity to join first, then we will go to the list in the Pro shop. Those on the list will be contacted until the the membership is full. So if they are interested have them stop by the Pro shop because the memberships are limited. Swim dues for the summer of 2008 will be $170.00 per membership. Dues will be payable by April first.
Swimming lessons. There will be 2 or 3 weeks of swimming lessons depending on how many sign up. The cost for members will be $35.00 per child for a one hour session each day for one week (M-F]. The cost for non members will be $60.00 per child. Swimming lessons tentatively will start on June 9th. There will be 2 one hour sessions each day. Please sign for the session you would like to attend with the guards at the pool.
Tournaments
At the present time the torments for 08 have not been scheduled.
Ladies Association
The ladies golf association will have their first meeting on March 11 @ 9:00 am at the club house. At this meeting we will discuss our plans for the coming year. The LGA would like to invite the ladies in the club that are not already members to come and join us.
